Hey!  It's me, Sam.  I'm just here letting you all know that I'm still alive.  Ain't it great?!

Quote for today-- "Just because someone lies to you doesn't mean they're telling the truth."  That's not a misprint.

Hello.  I am Sam.  Hear me ROAR!

Wednesday, March 02, 2005

The anatomy of tomorrow, a short shot in the dark attempting to inspire thought, by G.N. Sam.

A young man walking down the street bumped into the town beggar.  The beggar expected people to treat him badly so he was kindly surprised when the young man stopped to help him up and dust him off.

Seeking to repay the young man the beggar began speaking,"Tomorrow is forever, because tomorrow can never be today.  'What will you do tommorrow?' is a question one should attempt to never ask.  For what you say you will do in the passion of today, you may fail to follow through on tomorrow.  Like making a deposit in a bank account, every word you speak is measured and weighed.  When you fail to follow through the balance begins to go negative in the red.  However, following through pays in character that lasts a lifetime.  Tomorrow is forever the fruit of your actions today."

The young man simply smiled, raised his hat in respect, and continued on his way to his original destination.  Imagine for a second that we could hear his thoughts, what would you suggest they might be?

--Most memorable scene from Star Wars (Luke is half-dead in the snow when Obi Wan appears)--

Obi Wan: "Luke, Luke."

Luke: "BEN?!"
